Another horrible wardrobe disaster, no culottes for me! On some women I see them riding up and it looks nasty.

The last pair of culottes I wore was in 4th grade. I remember that because I hated them and I have yet to see anyone look good in them.

I once read that the one piece of clothing men hate most on women are turtlenecks. I wear them only in the dead of winter when I am not in the mood to wear a heavy scarf around my neck. Otherwise, I rarely buy them....maybe a black one but I rarely wear it.

No culottes or turtlenecks for me. I can't stand anything up around my neck. The culottes just look silly.

I miss my culottes/gauchos. Had a pair in black leather but gave them away when I lost weight. The knee length ones are nice for me, not the really short style nor long wide leg style. Goes good with matching knee high or OTK boots. I see some are available, but at prices too steep for my budget. Maybe E Bay will come through for me. Here is a photo of the style I'm talking about.

culottes and boots are great outfit for any woman photo 248-culottes-2011-_zpsf84ac17d.jpg

No to culottes or gauchos. I used to wear turtlenecks all the time and like the look, but I can't wear them any longer. They are too warm and constricting around my neck these days.

and the style is incorporated into what I call the "golf" skirt, which is a nice look for someone who wants to look sporty, but doesn't feel that shorts would be appropriate...

I like the top left photo, but I'd need a different color.

I used to like turtlenecks and then, for some reason, it suddenly struck me that everyone who wears them (including myself) looks like they have no neck or a thicker neck than they actually have. And I happen to have a very long slim neck which is why I used to think they looked good on me. But they don't. They don't look good on anyone and many fashion experts agree with me. I now prefer a cowl neck, a v-neck, a scoop neck, anything but a turtleneck!

Also, buttioning one button at the top of a sweater makes a tent over the stomach! Your eye travels to the widest part of the triangle! NOT a good look!
