Just a personal observance......

Two women on the news are wearing black today.  I think women look so dressed up to wear the black.  Not all women can wear it, but I just really like black and sometimes Navy Blue now.

What color says "dressed up" to you?

Definitely black for me.  I buy too much black but I love it.

I think black is classic.  Navy is very nice too!

If the top is better than a T shirt, I always feel like I'm going to a funeral.  I decided a few years back to buy black tops and I haven't worn one all summer.  Black pants and jeans are fine.

Re: Just a personal observance......

I always thought that black did not look good on me.  Years ago, I was even told that by a saleswoman at Harrod's, the big department store in London. I was trying on trench coats.  She said the black drained the color from my face, so I bought the beige coat.

But now that I am much older, I am starting to buy more black.  Maybe my coloring changed, or my attitude, but I think it looks good now.

Black.  All my dresses and dressy pants outfits are black.

(ETA:  Now that I think about it ... probably 75% of my clothes are black.  But that's "normal" for a NYer.)

Any color.  The trick is "accessorize."

That's my opinion & I'm sticking w/it.

Not crazy about black, but, if your big busted, black and navy blue tops are your friend. People will look U in the eye more. LOL

I feel dressed  up when I wear black and white together...like a tuxedo-look or a spectator-look.
