What a colossal turnoff and money grub -- shameful.
Talk about Scrooge! just don't watch! I happen to love CIJ.

"money grubbing QVC panting their way to July 1. @Secretariat1, I thought that I remembered your name. Read your last post where you were VERY unhappy with QVC and their returns. "Hire more help.......but get your act together or I"m taking mine on the road".

ITA it is a total bore. I will not be watching.

Some like it some do not. Apparently it's good business for the Q. I personally find it boring.

I dread it every year.
It's so obnoxious to start this on July 1st

I love the ability to buy anything I might want or need for Christmas early - great for the budget and also time saving so I can concentrate on baking and Christmas events and not have to find time and money to shop with everything else going on! I do think they shouldn't bring the set decorations out to stay as early as they did last year though.

Not wanting Christmas in July does not make one a scrooge. Maybe some would like to have July and Christmas in December. That will not happen because the longer they sell Christmas the more money they make.

I don' understand why this upsets you so. If there was no CIJ programming those hours would just be filled with their other boring, predictable merchandise.
