Money grubbing QVC panting their way to July 1. Why wait until July 25th to start with the Christmas barrage.....in fact, why not just start on January 1.  The few months before Christmas is obnoxious enough with the hard-sell day-in and day-out for months. Now we have to be subjected to this nonsense as early as July 1. What a colossal turnoff and money grub -- shameful.

Christmas in July would be OK, it is not Christmas in July. It is Christmas STARTING in July-Dec.

Re: July 25th was bad enough!

I used to enjoy Christmas in July when it was only one day on or near 7/25.  But now that they do Christmas programming a LOT starting early in July, I don't watch Q as much.  I'll probably watch a show or two in July, but then I  won't watch any of the Christmas shows until November.  Last year, I was burned out on Christmas by August, and I decided then I wouldn't let it happen again.  So when Christmas shows come on, I will change the channel.  I know many love it (enjoy!) and Q makes a lot of $$ on it (I have no problem with that either), but it's not for me.  Maybe Q should start a separate Christmas network ... Christmas items 24/7/364 and lighten up (not eliminate) such programming on Q.

Money grubbing??????   QVC is a FOR PROFIT BUSINESS.  If they know from history that they will sell significant amounts and make a profit by holding a CIJ marketing event then it makes perfect BUSINESS sense for them to do so.

Re: July 25th was bad enough!

Are you kidding?  All you have to do is not watch that channel.  I have a friend who loves Christmas, everything about it.  She lives for the Christmas movies.

Me?  It doesn't interest me until the day.  I would never try to stop her from her joy.  Besides what difference does it make.  There are those who love the QVC Christmas stuff.

Me?  Again, I keep thinking about all of the money I'm going to save by not watching QVC.  It's just my preference.  I like that some people like it.  Doesn't bother me.

I don't do Christmas, but I also know many buyers love CIJ and the most boring thing about it is the constant complaining I've been reading here ever since the forums started.

This thread gives me another really good reason to stay away from the forums.  I need to do that anyway, but I thank all of you for complaining about CIJ.  You're giving me a shove away.

Isn't Qvc a major international retailer?  Isn't that what retailers want.....money????   Aren't all retailers money grubbers....lol.  Cij is obviously very popular and lucrative.  Even if I don't like it.  Watch something else on TV.

Always the same Da**   things every year.....those toy light up plastic cars that go on the tracks and make all that racket...the fake trees....the fake outdoor lights.....  Plastic, fake loud and obnoxious....that is QVC's CIJ.
