I probably would've sprung for the bag, but it sold out. Oh well, all those compartments would've been annoying... Nice looking bag though. Maybe they'll bring it back. Personally, I'm getting a little tired of home shopping's seeming limited inventory, no matter which home shopping we're talking about...

sorry you missed out, stevieb.....they were flying out the door at midnight....just like the good old days at the midnight hour at the Q....when they had unique items and they sold out at midnight....remember those days....I know you do....

I was tempted but I just could not get past that name plate. I know that is shallow of me but I'm afraid I'd be laughed at if people saw me carrying a Joy Mangano purse. I hope everyone who bought one....or 6 enjoy theirs. When you receive your bags be sure to post about them.

Chi, the scarf idea is great. Thanks! Circles, we will compare our reviews for sure. Who knows, they may offer the two colors we missed at a later time. Joy had a ruched bag years ago that was really cool. It could be expanded. I got so many compliments on that bag. I jetisoned my name brand ones for awhile, and ended up with a dozen in different colors. I changed colors each month. It was a fun bag. I still have a few of them that I carry sometimes. Wish she'd bring that design back in leather. Oh someone asked about what we'd do with all the colored watches. Good question. Lol I hope the watches are a cute addition, otherwise off they go. Hope everyone is pleased with their purchase.

Many people wouldn't know who they were and you could always carry it with the name against you. But why is the name funny and do you think most would stop to read a tiny name plate on your handbag? I don't get it.

Wow, if someone laughed because of the nameplate on my handbag I'd have to take a good hard look at them and wonder at their values. Then I'd be looking at myself and wonder when and why I became and am a handbag snob! I'm glad I don't live in that type of world.

Shallow or not, I agree, the nameplate is not a selling point and really, they should know that and have kept it low key. It wouldn't be a deal-breaker, but it sure isn't a plus.

It would be nice to have the option for a name or logo plate. Some do like the look. I don't care. I have been stopped and complimented for my handbags many times. Never has anyone asked me for the designer name. Maybe they do look for the plate or logo. I have LV, D&B, Coach, but I also use handbags from Target and Macy's house brands which are no different than Joy/IMAN. I enjoy switching handbags depending on my mood, the season, events, travel. When I can pick up a 100% leather satchel for less than 100 dollars including taxes, s&h, in colors that compliment my wardrobe, it's a win! 3 of these or 1 D&B? It's a personal choice.
