Are you jonesing for a red winter coat?  If so, Vince Camuto may have the answer.

Re: Jonesing for a red coat?

It's a lovely coat, but I could never wear a collar like that.  My neck is very short, and that collar would cover my eyes!

Love the color, but even were I still living in cold country that collar plus the double rows of buttons are total no's for me.

Nice coat but I couldn’t wear that neck.

Nice coat but the collar is a no go. Haven't worn a coat in decades. I don't even own one.

Re: Jonesing for a red coat?

@Nonametoday  For several years now, I have been on a quest for a single breasted, warm red, wool coat with a collar.

The pretty coat that you posted is just the right shade of red, but it is double breasted and as a petite with a not long neck, a stand collar doesn't work for me.

Macy's has a couple of nice red coats, but are wool blends with

polyester Smiley Sad. I think that I need to feel the fabric and see that the red is not a blue red. In recent years, most reds have been either very dark or blue reds. Wool coats are not easy to find.

Re: Jonesing for a red coat?

I swear the only coat I don't have in my ridiculously large coat wardrobe is a red one, in any length. The red ones I have found all seem to be made from scratch, mystery material not known in nature.

Re: Jonesing for a red coat?

I do have one red quilted jacket. Before Joan Rivers passed away,

I purchased three of her quilted jackets with corduroy collar and cuffs. One is camel, one blue and one as Joan described as the "perfect tomato red". I love these jackets and I still miss Joan.

But my holy grail is the perfect red wool coat.
