OK, well, they both agreed that Joan "is truly the biggest patriot out there".

That's even a bigger load of baloney.

JMO. D-Day is a big deal to many and statements like this trivialize the sacrifices made by many true patriots.

btw, fyi, I don't spend my time looking for things to get offended by.

Joan IS tremendously patriotic, as I believe most of us are who read and post here. I like that she says if people don't like it here, leave. That's my opinion exactly! So she sells red, white and blue products. I wish they were made here, but that's another issue. Let her alone.

As former military I am very much aware of the sacrifices made but it does not color everything I do.

Normally, I'm not offended by what JR says. But just recently she made a statement on her E show that was so distasteful - she's forever on my "list."

Never again will I watch or buy anything from her.

Ita. I have active duty & also veterans in my family & JR's not even on their radar.Jmho but watching the video it was a quick comment,you'd have to be looking to be offended to even notice it.

Not a real fan of Joan but she's toured w the USO entertaining troops overseas several times.

Ah, there is the bashing I was expecting. As a daughter of Russian Jew immigrants I am sure Joan appreciates freedom.

I honor your DH's service. But not all saw combat. My military retiree DH never did and I consider him a patriot.
