Yes it does come down to money but let's face it Joan made that happen not qvc. Quaker may still be going but from what I read from people it's not the same. I never bought Quaker but I would watch to see Jeanne but I don't watch Angel

Someone posted Kathy's funny and beautiful message on another thread. Perhaps it's on her facebook page or someone can remember where it is on this board. Her message is why I believe if Joan's line is to continue she should be the rep. Joan has a whole team of designers and I'm sure they know Joan's taste and wishes. I'd love to see Kathy has some input as well. Kathy knew her jewelry.

I hope somebody posts what Kathy said. Her facebook page is private so I can't see it there. I wonder if they stayed in touch over the years?

I hope it does not continue. She had a unique style which no one could replace. RIP Joan.

I 100% agree. It would never be the same without Joan, I just suggested Kathy if QVC decided to still sell any items that are already produced and to wrap it up with a familiar face like Kathy who started this journey with Joan. But yes IMO without Joan it wouldn't work and even now when I put on QVC it seems different. I think they should honor Joan with a entire segment and share memories of her not some 30 second video in between set changes.

I'd like to see David Dangle present Joan's items. I'm fairly sure that many items have already been manufactured, in order to to be presented during the holidays, and also in Spring 2015. In the fashion world, most likely most items are manufactured a year ahead of time.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I disagree. All production on any of Joan's products should be ceased except for any that have gone into production or designed and approved for future production while Joan was still here. Joan personally put her stamp of glamour, taste and approval on EVERY piece. That can't be done now that's she gone. It wouldn't really be Joan. I can't believe we have lost Joan Rivers. One of our brightest lights has gone out.

I disagree. David was by her side for years, & probably knew her tastes as well as anyone. He would do the line justice.

I agree. I think David was very much into the production of these pieces and knew Joan's taste very well.

I know Joan and David would say from time to time they were already working on fall 2015 but they should change it Joan Rivers by David Dangle if it continues or do what Mark did who worked with Nolan and create his own line. I do think Kathy Levine would be a bonus to the company if it continues

I just bought a Joan Rivers denim flower pin. My first Joan Rivers purchase. I definitely think the line should continue. Joan would have loved that, as long as its done right.

During a show here, she said that after she died, her jewelry would be worth more, go to ebay and sell it, as she laughed.

I remember that, Mousiegirl. She laughed and laughed. A good memory.

Re: Joan is gone but please keep her jewelry and clothing line alive and growing

I am very much hoping that Joan River Classics continue. I wear so many of her clothes and accessories and have done so for so long that I really count on being able to purchase them. Hopefully, Melissa along with David will choose in some way to go on. The idea of including Kathy Levine is interesting too. I am sure that Joan has expressed her desires about this and that Melissa will follow through. The presentations would be very different without Joan, but I still would purchase her things.
