Re: Joan Rivers Show Reminder

I am sure that the programmers at QVC are just as upset as anyone else with this situation. Email blasts happen....stuff happens...life happens, and so does death. I am sure they will fill in the time slot appropriately, without notice to anyone. After all, QVC is a business. Life goes on.

The shows at the end of the month are gone too. Too bad...but I'm still hoping that the line goes one.

I think the line will go on. I'm sure David and all involved just need some time before they come back and there must also be a lot of decisions to make at this time.

I agree and to come on so soon after her passing would be tacky. Probably the items that were still in process while Joan was alive will sell but I'm not sure how things will go as time goes on. Joan being live on the air was a huge part of the success but David being the way he is I think will be ""on it"" as far as quality and what Joan would approve of. I do hope though Melissa is a part of the selling and I still am hoping for a return of Kathy Levine as a Joan collection vendor

I keep checking the program guide on the Q main page, but am not finding this show. I would really like to see it if it's going to air.

Okay, scratch that. Just found out the show was officially deleted.

Why would anyone think the QVC show would or should be cancelled? I don't get that. These aren't "shows" in that they are meant to entertain; they sales presentations and the company will mostly likely continue. In the same way that Quacker Factor continued after Jeanne Bice passed away.

I think the JR programs will come back in time. Would be tacky for QVC to be promoting her items right now. I would think David Dangle will continue to present the items. He is certainly knowledgeable and has done it before, but Joan will be greatly missed.
