Lisa Robertson wrote something on her FB page re: her original role with The GILI line. If you read between the lines you will definitely get the impression that she will be coming out with her own line at some point. She was saying that these things take a lot of time to put together. I doubt she will be selling her items on QVC though. But stranger things have happened.

My impression is that QVC wants the G.I.L.I. Line to be an upscale clothing and handbag line but that it has faltered due to quality issues and L.R. leaving. The other hosts probably haven't got the ""it"" factor to be the new face of this aspirational QVC brand but I do think this brand is too identified with L.R. for someone else to be the new face.

It's another thing to say you don't care who got it loves it.

You're singling out posters who do like her line.

Lucky Charm, I apologize for offending you. I did not mean to sound mean and spiteful. I will rephrase to say that I don't care for the GILI line, and have noticed the reviews are mediocore.

Now I feel really bad! No need to apologize to me as I couldn't tell you anything about the GILI like as I've never watched a show where it was presented!

I guess Jill Martin's name is what caught me on this thread because I remember her from the Today Show.

I just felt bad for the poster who said she really liked the line and hopes it continues on....

I remember reading Jill's 'farewell' post on Q's site and it didn't seem warm and fuzzy at all. I was kinda surprised. I coulda been reading into it all wrong. Maybe someone can find it and post it here? I don't know how to do that kind of crafty stuff...lol.

I think Jill and Lisa R were professional colleagues and work friends. I felt Jill's farewell was very nice. Jill and Lisa had worked together for a very long time, but basically had very different lives.

I doubt she is going to appeal to a wide audience as Lisa Robertson did. I'm not interested after seeing her in a t-shirt that says ""Blondes do it better.""

I did not purchase everything that Lisa presented in the GiLI line, but I love what I purchased. I purchased the strip leather black jacket, Moto leather blush big collar jacket, obi belt, the Roma 2 purse and the leather GILI pouch(both perfect purses for traveling). I look good in and enjoy my purchases. Some of us may miss Lisa R selling GILI, but she has moved on to a new adventure. I like that the Q is trying to sell more upscale items to make a certain percentage of their shoppers happy. I wish Jill Martin well in her endeavors to present GILI. I hope she introduces some great items that I want to purchase and enjoy as much as my past GILI purchases.
