If you Google Jenny Packham gowns most of them are 100 percent polyester. I would bet anything that it's polyester that feels great on the body and does not look at all like polyester.

For example this one is 100 percent polyester

Beautiful dresses.  And I've had polyester blouses that I would have sworn were silk so as with everything there are different kinds of polyester.

The fact that it has long sleeves would be good for me!  However, it does not WOW me --- especially for the price tag!!!
