Jennie Garth Collection

[ Edited ]

She is such a sweetheart and I love her collection. I ordered the maxi skirt this morning when she was on with Mary Beth and may order the dress that Jennie is wearing on the show tonight. I’m waiting for it to be presented. Anyone ordering?

Edited... the dress is not for me but pretty.

I am watching, and she is a beautiful lady and so nice. Not at all pretencious. I am thinking about ordering the jeans Shawn is wearing, of which she says are a 4 and she normally wears a 2, but she said they didn't have one for her. They fit her perfectly, she is a 4, they are not at all big like she thinks.

her items are lovely ,  the dress is so pretty.    hopefully they will show it soon so you can decide if you want it .   I think it was probably best at showing her new line with Marybeth .   Shawn imo not the best chemistry with Jennie

@KittySoftPaws   lol 😂 have to agree with you as I thought the same exact thing !   I'm not really sure she's a 4 even ,  but have to take her at her word .   Now Jennie definitely is an xxs she is very tiny and adorable !

@Kitty Galore  I think Jennie really likes working with Shawn though. She seems comfortable with her. She also worked really well with Mary Beth this morning who looked great in all the clothes she wore.

I just turned it on after cleaning the kitchen post dinner

The t shirt Shawn has on, gold and white stripe, I bought the Lauren Conrad version

at Kohls for a fraction of the Jennie Garth Q price of 44.98

I paid less than 10.00 on clearance.

I have a few pieces of Jenny Garth, and I love them. Really well made.  The one thing I have learned to adjust is she runs very big.  I wear a medium QVC usually, but hers the M I softer epway to big. Sometimes the small fits and sometimes not, and I have to pass.  Believe me I haven't worn a small anything since I was 6 years old lol.  I am 5,2"" barely, more like 5'1-1/2", and 137 pounds, with an hour glass type shape   I ordered some of the flared denim, in an 8p and  10p. Hope one fits   I wear medium pants from soft surrounding.  What do you think?  I never go by the measurements exactly QVC gives. But the fact QVC said they run big....

I'd like to know in what universe a petite wears a 29 1/2" inseam?

Re: Jennie Garth Collection

[ Edited ]

@simplyfriends I was going to start a thread about this too!

The JG line has been my most favorite Q line of late. I've bought 3 items...the satin/lace handkerchief hem skirt from last season and two Rowan pants (LOVE)...and I'm always reluctant to fit pants online. They are my favorite recent pants purchases.

I love the vibe, and style of her pieces...and am eyeing more. The dress someone mentioned from yesterday morning's show with MaryBeth, has been in and out of my cart. I'm trying to hold back as its nothing I really need right now, and also sizing...reviews say it runs big so I wasn't sure what size to get.

I also find her professional, poised and well-versed on how to present every detail of her pieces. ie. REALLY truly involved in "designing", or at least working with designers, (and apparently her 20 y.o. daughter), to design the line.

She also seems sincerely sweet and excited for this line.

I think she and her line are a winner on QVC. I pray they don't QVC it up like the did with CCB's line which started out great but then petered out and looked more like D&C. Not putting down D&C, from which I have several items, but they are two separate things.

@Kachina624 Honestly, at 5'1", (with longer legs than torso) I DO! 29 1/2 is honestly my sweet spot, but I always make do with 29", especially for the jean you showed which is wide leg. I usually wear a 2-3" heel with wide legs.

I've bought 2 pair of Jennie's Rowan pants, wide legs, 29"....perfect for 2-2 1/2" heels and boots and wedge sandals, I've worn with them. But somehow I can also wear a chunky sneaker with them.

At 5'1" I've also bought 30-31" inseams to hem to just the right length for heels...I like them floor skimming...not hitting but long legged look in those cases.

So 29" can work for some petites, but I get it...if one is 5" and under and wants to wear a flat shoe it won't. But many other lines here have shorter petite lengths I won't wear, so I'm happy a line has other options. I also just bought petite wide leg jeans from LOFT...they also size theirs at 29".
