Me too! To each their own I guess, but I have one pair from AE that I've had for at least 10 years, that is very distressed and I will keep them forever. I wear clothes that i like and not to please others.

my daughter wears jeans like this.

the overly distressed are not for me, but she is an adult and can make her own fashion decisions......and there are LOTS of women wearing them. i do have a couple of pairs of mildly distressed jeans.....and they are fun.

as long as the holes are in appropriate places then i am not bothered.....LOL

Deja Vu.....jeans like that were "groovy" in the late 60's and 70's but you didn't buy them like that. The wear and tear showed that the wearer had much loved and much worn jeans.

Why pay money to buy jeans that are already torn?  This is the dumbest look.  Torn jeans and the half tuck shirt, ridiculous looking!

I just do not care for them.  When I give up my $$ on something I want as much as possible in the purchase to go home with me.  That includes material.  My DDIL who turns 41 this weekend loves them and wears them when she is not have to wear her RN scrubs.
