Re: Jane Treacy's Studio Park Collection

Jane is totally different from me in size, shape, personality, age and taste.

She looks nice in the dresses .... I'd look awful.

[ Edited ]

Well, like many, I'm not a big fan of hers so would not watch her presentation of her SP line. However, I thought maybe she would have items for the shorter person. I am a petite and wear an XXS-small, depending on style and designer, however, I still am curvy. My biggest issue is my hips, and of course, being short at about 5'3".

After seeing what is being offered I really doubt she could possibly have designed these items. Just not going to work for me. Most seemed a little frumpy to me.

Most of the studio park line was not to my taste with the exception of Amy's. I did find a couple items I liked.

There is a short video of Jane wearing some pieces. Some if not all I saw were not looking best on her. Wide stripes, short jacket and a belted dress way too high.

@frenchie I love WOMEN who are brave enough to wear stripes because they like them, not because it "flatters their figure" and makes other women criticize them and gossip.

Nope.  Did not see one thing I would be interested in buying.

JT is all about family, so my impression of her Studio Park line is that she is channeling her mother's clothing from the 1950's.  Yea.....no!

Re: Jane Treacy's Studio Park Collection

I watched the video and I like what I see.  I like the dresses, that sheer stripe sweater that someone mentioned, and what looks to be possibly a denim shirt or topper (not sure what I was looking at).  Pretty styles, fun prints.  But... I will like them all on someone else, not me.  They are not what I would choose to wear.

So far, there have been seven (not including Jane's yet) host Studio Park collaborations.

I've purchased from one host's SP line -- Leah's.  Only one item, but I bought three colors of that one item -- 1/4-zip french terry sweatshirt (A492433) at the clearance price.

I'm a jumbo sized lady and I love stripes.  A striped t shirt makes me happy.

So far I have enjoyed Shawn's collection most. I will check if Jane has a maxi dress but would not be interested in anything else.

Re: Jane Treacy's Studio Park Collection

I did look at the video to see what type of fashions she was going to offer. It was mostly dresses. That leaves me out. I'm just not big into dresses anymore. I don't think she and I have the same fashion style.
