Re: Jane Treacy's Dress at the "Calista" Wedding...

@mstyrion 1Such a gracious and generous response. Hope you and Deanie will enjoy more mutual conversations.

Sometimes I post something and come back to re-read and think "Yikes, I hope that reads better than how it sounds".

Thanks for posting the pictures of a beautiful group of friends enjoying a happy occasion - Maria's wedding!

@mstyrion 1

'the dress has embroidery. What does it mean?' Probably, and I'm going out on a limb here, means she liked the dress with the interesting embroidery on it.

I found the question odd also...

I don't care about the stupid rules that get spouted on this board all the time about weddings but I would say that IMO - Lisa's dress is not at all attractive and does nothing for her.

I am glad I am not the only one on here that thinks that Lisa R. dress color was inappropriate. I agree with the statement that she wanted to get that extra attention. She needs to find her niche.

That's her MO.

She usually wears sleek, dark, fitted clothing, then she comes along in THIS to a wedding? Yes, I'll agree with the above statements.  Nothing about fits the way she usually presents herself to the world.  So, what was that all about??????

White is acceptable at a wedding these days.  Just like black.  One use to "NEVER" wear black to a wedding.

Also, goes for funerals, black does not have to be worn to funerals.

I have been to numerous evening weddings and black is common.

I almost always wear black to weddings.

I know I'm not alone - there are a sea of women dressed in black.
