I hope JCPenney survives. Their LizClaiborne 600 thread count sheet sets can’t be beat. Their original prices are very competitive and in addition they almost always have a coupon for 15-20%. They also have great draperies and linens.

I really like JC Penney.  They have good sales and I like a couple of the lines that they carry.

I really like their cotton percale sheets. Crisp and cool for year around in Florida.

JCP makes the best sheets and towels. I still have some that are 20yo and I can still use them. They might even be older than that. I forget.

Our once-thriving JCP is a ghost town. They no longer have a bedding/linen dept. Lots of empty floor space and no employees. I doubt it will be open a year from now. JCP used to be my "go to" place for sheets, towels, and draperies.

The JCPenny in my mall is not very good.  Most shelves are empty.  It's been looking like the store could close any day and that's been going on for at least a  year now.  The few times I've walked in, not a person in sight, walking the floor or behind a register.
