J Crew site has their new fall items. They actually show this look.

It's something you'd see on a mannequin in a store window or in a store. I think it looks fine on this thin model. Just not a wearable look. Btw I am not complaining, just a topic for discussion.

Which one would you eliminate? I would eliminate the quilted puffer lady jacket. Lol at lady jacket

Yes, definitely I would omit the 'lady jacket".

@Greeneyedlady21  I virtually never could wear what is shown in store windows or display stands, but it doesn't bother me that they show items that way.  I assume they want to get as much as the6 can into our thinking and therefore maybe into our choosing.  Doesn't have t9 mean we would wear the items as shown.

compare that window outfit to the fashion show Macduff posts here periodically.  I couldn't choose even 5 outfits from the many "shows" she has provided, but I like knowing what is available jus5 in case there might be a beautiful,piece I could use as part of an outfit for me.

I would buy all of the pieces, and wear them according to the look I needed, the weather, or my mood. Mix and match to get a lot of looks. They are all beautiful pieces.

@Greeneyedlady21

I would try everything in different configurations, eliminating the animal print.

@Greeneyedlady21   That puffer is ludicrous...why would you put all that volume under two jackets.

Look at how Lori Goldstein dresses, they are trying to sell clothes.

I think the model looks nice but I can't imagine anyone wearing that many jackets at one time.  I'd like to see more of the cream colored jeans/slacks for the total effect of the complete outfit.

Reminds me of the movie 'Scarecrow' and Gene Hackman's character wore all his clothes at once because it was less for him to carry on his cross-country trip with Al Pacino.  Great movie by the way....

@Greeneyedlady21

I agree with you. I would remove the button front quilted piece, but if there's nothing under that piece than I'd wear a solid color top, tank, or tee.

My personal preference would be to wear an ivory turtleneck by itself under the leopard coat with black pants or dark wash jeans.
