I like the look - especially with the striped sweater.  I don't own any jeans that sit "above the waist" though.

I love high waisted jeans, they hold in the belly area so well. I have weight there and I need that

I have one pair of J Crew I purchased at a garage sale for $2. It was my normal but they ran very long so drug the ground.  I donated them.

I really like the look of these. I have a pair that's a bit wider through the leg already so I probably don't need these.  Slim through the hip might be an issue for me, but I'd try a pair on in a store.

I just do not like the look of high waisted jeans.  HOw many are that thin with no curves and no "menopaunch" that can comfortably be able to wear that look?  Definitely not for my 5'4" short torsoed body!  The waistband would go up to my braline!  But enjoy the look if you can wear it!
