Italian made handbags.

I was in Italy for most of October and visited several different areas. Of course, I shopped and found the most gorgeous handbags which were made in Italy for about $150.00, some were much less, some more(American dollars, not Euros). Why the heck can't the Q get some of those bags? We get Italian leather, made in China bags, but nothing actually made in Italy. Wonder why?
