I thought it was just because I was shopping in the clearance department at first but, when checking the new arrivals at stores, I was surprised to see so many long sleeves but most are not heavy material like one would find in the winter.

I bought a few very light weight (cotton silk, etc), long-sleeved blouses and tank tops to wear together. I haven't found any short-sleeved or elbow-sleeved tops that I like yet. I did get a 3/4 sleeve tencel blouse & a 3/4 sleeve sweatshirt (love the style but not really what I think of when I hear "sweatshirt") in a lightweight fabric at CWC recently & love both.

I live in Florida & it gets hot & humid outside but offices are kept cool. I don't always need one but I have co-workers who keep sweaters & even winter jackets at work. Layering pieces work very well for work.
