It's National Sweater Day Today

Yes, we actually have a National Sweater Day

Please post a picture of a sweater you would like to own, or describe your favorite sweater that you own and post a picture of it if you have one.

This is one I would like to own, the current version of Princess Diana's famous black sheep sweater by the British company Warm and Wonderful. But it's $300.00 so no

Re: It's National Sweater Day Today

I have a lot of sweaters. I have an armoire filled with 3 stacks of folded pullover sweaters and a 4-shelf unit in my closet that has both cardigans & pullovers.

Whenever I buy a new sweater, I let go of one that I have.

My latest sweater purchase was a V-neck cable-knit cardigan with pearlized buttons in an ivory color. I wanted one that hit at the top of the hip.

I love sweaters.

There are so many favorite ones!  Anyone remember Eagle Eye sweaters?  My parents and DH would always get me sweaters from there,  still have many and wear them.  I actually broke the hing on my cedar chest?  I B DIFFUSION was another favorite sweater make.mmThe one with LOVE on it.  I have many nautical ones as well, just always chilly and love my sweaters.

My cashmere sweaters are my favorites, and I have quite a collection.  Warmth without the bulk.

Okay, I, too have sweaters galore in all fabrics.  Yes, cashmere for twenty degrees and below, other fabric mixtures when the weather is a bit warmer (freezing and above).

I discovered Barefoot Dreams from QVC, and I now have a few of those. I especially like the heavy pullovers or cardigans. My husband skis and we go to very, very cold places.

I also have a few very high end sweaters that I can use as dressy tops.

Last year I purchased this pink sweater because it was just so darn cute and I love cats:

This year I purchased this lovely embroidered cashmere sweater from Bloomies because I also love flowers:

Enjoy your sweater collections and stay warm!

Love the Land's End I just got. It's red with snow flakes on the front (embrodiered). I suspect the yarn is maybe 6 ply.

There's quite the battle over who invented the Black Sheep Sweater. I have the Rowing Blazers version.
