I can usually determine the intent and use the context to understand the message and information so errors don't bother me too much. I admit I shake my head occasionally, but that's probably because I was a teacher. I taught my students tips and tricks for remembering specific grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules.

I'm a retired teacher.  Personally, I try to make sure all my posts are mechanically and grammatically correct.  I can't help it.  lol   Like someone else said, keyboard slips, auto-correct, or just "fast typing" happens, and I do make mistakes.  If I see them after my comment has posted, I go back and correct them, though.

It's also the result of having been a teacher.  Seeing the same misspelling over and over makes my eyeballs hurt!  But in my defense, I only picked on one word, not "every grammatical error."  Carry on.

Also, this was a generalized statement, not directed at a particular poster.  I think that would be rude.

I wasn't teaching, but back int he day, before Spell Check, I used to proof read papers.   Not only that, but I won my grade school's spelling bee in 4th grade.

Words spelled incorrectly practically jump off the page.  It is what it is.

@Nonametoday

Not sure what you want me to proofread.  Maybe I'm misunderstanding?

proofread is one word, not two. Also spellcheck is one word.  You were talking about correct spelling, so I was just saying we all make mistakes.  I do, as well, and when I do, feel free to point them out.

I didn't realize we were back in school. If I make a mistake, don't tell me. Leave it alone and I won't bring your mistakes to your attention either.

@Nonametoday I am not the one who misspelled "proofread". I think you are getting me mixed up with Tinkrbl44.

Sorry.  That has happened to me before when 2-3 posts get entangled.  I apologize.  I had addressed it to Shoesnbags initially.  My apologies.

I have apologized twice.  I said this has happened to me before.  I am sorry.  I apologize once again.
