This has most likely been discussed here but I noticed Isaac will no longer be working Target but says instead he is dedicating his time to redesign of the Liz Claiborne line which has been suffering at Macy's.
Is that the same Liz line that was/is here at QVC, is it the same as is present now at Macy's, is it the same that JCPenney carries?
Is he going to continue that line here at QVC?
If he is upping the Liz line and bringing it here, will he be continuing the Isaac Mizrahi line here?
Who/what line will be replacing Isaac at Target?

Didn't he leave Target like 10 years ago?

At first I thought this was an old thread. Issac has been gone from Target for a long time. A couple of years ago, the New York Times did a profile on Issac. He does very little designing any more and was primarily working on writing a play for Broadway

His line with Target ended in 2008. His association with Liz C ended in 2010. He sold his brand Xcel brands. He works for them.

You are correct.

What strikes me funny is those that believe his line at the Q is somehow different from his line at Target! I have one of his pieces from Target. the idea that he switched manufacturers when he went to the Q is just silly. Target has nice quality clothing regardless of the names on the labels!
I judge quality by the fact that I can wash something repeatedly and it maintains its shape and color. Something that I can have for years that still holds up

I thought only QVC and J. C. Penney had license to sell Liz Claiborne?

I can't imagine that Isaac's Target line used the same manufacturers as is used for QVC. Not that one would be better than the other, I would just think they would be different. I never liked Isaac's Target line. There wasn't a piece sold there I would have bought. I never liked the colors for one thing.
However, Isaac's line on QVC is probably one that I like the most, although I don't own a ton of it. His line on QVC is greatly expanded from what was sold in Target. His Target line was small.
As far as Liz C., that line is gone from QVC.

Don't quote me, but i thought Isaac's line on the Q isn't really his either. Like for
a year or more... Yes, he has been gone from Target for a long time.
