Re: Is not having pockets a deal breaker for you?

I don't care one way or the other about pants but I don't like jackets without pockets.  A couple of years ago I purchased two really cute jean-type jackets with no pockets.  They went to Goodwill because i never wore them.

The only pants I want pockets on are my jeans.  As several have already mentioned, it makes for a cleaner line/smoother fit.

I don’t want pockets in my pants. I sew them closed and remove the lining.

Only place I want pockets is on myoiterwear

I really like the side pockets on pants that hardly show at all.  I also like a slip pocket (exterior) on a handbag.  Back pockets are useless and add bulk on pants.  Yes, pockets are important.

It can be especially in jeans. But conversely I really don't like the patch pockets on the front of a shirt! I just don't like the look. A single breast pocket or even 2 is okay but that patch pocket slapped on the front down around your waist, no thank you!

Depends on the garment, coat or jacket must have pockets. Pants or shorts depends on if dressy or casual. Shirts not so much adds bulk where I do not need it. I know when winter is over I miss all my pockets. 🤣🤣

If you can, please share the name of the dress you purchased I would like to see if it would suit me.

With a few exceptions, yes it is a dealbreaker.
I also don't carry a bag most times. The only time I carry a bag is if I will be gone the entire day, or of course, on dressier occasions so having pockets is important (and not those pitiful tiny pockets that hold nothing, lol).

I don't like pockets in clothing.  Never did.  Particularly in pants.  They never seem to lay right and somertimes add bulk and mess up the lines of the garment.  Extra bulk?  I sure don't need that!

No.

But, if there is pockets - placement and no added bulk is what I look at.

Do like them for jackets though for sure!
