Re: Is anyone shopping for winter clothes?

I've bought two sweaters, a long sleeve blouse and a pair of corduroy pants.  I hope I'll be able to wear them.  It's 95 degrees here today.  The weather man just said it was 20 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Re: Is anyone shopping for winter clothes?

No!  But I'm really looking forward to wearing winter clothes.

I have a closet full of Basso and LandsEnd coats.

I have two pairs of snow boots and plenty of winter shoes.

I have winter weight pants from Chico's and Coldwater Creek, and QVC.

I have lots of sweaters, scarves, hats and gloves.

I have plenty of turtlenecks.

@cherry

It depends on your definition of winter; I’m in Florida!

I purchased a pair pair of purple suede clogs a few weeks ago and wore them today. I’ve bought a hoodie (IM) and a chenille sweater (DG) and those will be my winter coats.

There are probably a few pairs of ankle boots and leather mules in my future but I’m not actively searching for them.

Re: Is anyone shopping for winter clothes?

I haven't even thought about winter clothes yet.  I love fall and fall clothes best of all and I haven't been able to wear my fall clothes yet.  The temperature today was 90 degrees - much too hot for October.  Heck, I'll probably get to wear my fall stuff this winter at this rate!

Re: Is anyone shopping for winter clothes?

i ordered a couple of fleece-type tops (and mock necks to go under) and that's about it for me.  i'm all set for pants and i picked up a jacket last year on sale.  i'm in florida, so we don't need much to get us through the cold months.

No needs, but I am "wanting" a new pair of booties. Haven't seen the "right" ones yet. When I do, I'll be a buyer.

Re: Is anyone shopping for winter clothes?

Every year in the Fall I buy a new Cashmere sweater to add to my collection. Bought Isaacs Cashmere scarf also  on sale.I live in the Upper Midwest and am outside with my dogs daily. Today I wore the SG red plaid fleece  coat to the dog park. It was misty and 48 degrees. I have coats for all temps. Loved my TSV Nuage coat last year and bought another one as, Iove the stretch and give for my walks. Canadians know what Winter is. I live about five hours from the border.
