I agree......................................it is kind of nice to see the shoe on the other foot with all the interruptions the hosts cause during presentations!!

Most hosts and guests constantly interrupt each other. What I don't understand is if the designer came all the way to the Q studio, why not let him/her present the item. The host can simply give updates on colors/qtys. After all, shouldn't the designer be the expert on their "creation"?

I agree 100%. The designer knows more about their line than the host. I would rather hear the designer than the host any day of the week. I can feel the frustration from the designer when the host is going on and on and not saying some things that need to be said.

Absolutely!

I never thought of him this way until this past summer- I was at a live LOGO show and he did a walk on. He didn't give the live audience a second thought when everyone was trying to say 'hi' to him during the break. OMG how obnoxious! I saw how there's a definite 'on camera' personality (which many can take or leave as it is!) vs 'real'.

Ibb38, Your observation speaks volumes about the "real" Dennis. Apparently he only performs when there's something in it for him.

I've noticed this "inattention" even to phone callers. He seems to just not want to waste time on them and get back to selling as quickly as possible. I think selling is the reason he interrupts hosts: when it's not about his product or enough about his product, he takes over. He's not interested at all in host stories.

He is loud, but he is not one who brags and he is not obnoxious. I think that is a very mean spirited thing to say. What is your personality?

If I could I would own all of Dennis Basso coats, jackets. decorating items etc. There is not one thing that is a product of Dennis Basso that I can find fault with. Like all his products and especially like him. Don't find him rude at all. I see a man who likes to have a good time, enjoys life and what he is doing good for him.

I don't find that statement to be mean at all. It's plainly obvious and true to anyone who has watched him for any period of time. My sister has received so many faulty and poorly made DB garments that she won't buy them anymore.
