I’ve heard a medium shade of blue (wedgewood, periwinkle) photograph well and are flattering...also turquoise and a true bright pink.

@suzyQ3  It probably is concerning that it might look wavy or such depending on the print. Maybe too busy looking too.

Did anyone mention finding out about the color of the background?  What if you wear blue and the background is blue?

Could be, @SeaMaiden, but is it that different from TV? I see prints all the time there.

Light to mid-tone blues and greens were the colors I was told work best...

Probably black with royal blue. I rarely wear all one color.
