Re: If you know what a scoodie is, would you wear one due to cold weather?

@alicedee

That's one of the advantages of being able to make your own .... custom fit!

I think manufacturers overcompensate to fit everyone. the fabrication makes a difference too. How about when you turn your head but the hood stays in place so you're looking at the inside of your hood?! LOL

I am also in Michigan and have a scoodie (....or 4). I love them and they get much use!

Yes, I have several that I crocheted.  We call them a "snood"

They are very warm.

I bet you can use one right now! It's 48° in Miami so I know it's colder where you are!

It is 43 here and supposed to get down to 33!! tonight. A scoodie might feel good if I was outside right now. It has been windy lately and that also makes something like that a plus.

I confess that I’m wearing a long sleeved hooded lounge dress (HSN 723-037 in pink camo) right now! The hood isn’t up but it is there if I need it!

It's always a couple degrees cooler in Tampa when I visit my daughter and windier!

I haven't been in a long time but it's the same in Key West. Even though it's further south it always feels colder because it's a tiny island with the wind just whipping through!
