@DowntonAbbey

My stomach does this and I am told it is because I have IBS. Blah blah blah Nothing else is ever abnormal, for me.

I honestly have not been able to tolerate skin-tight pants for years. Getting comfortable when enduring IBS is a challenge.

I hope you are OK and that your doctors can put an end to your tummy issues!

@songbird

I never liked NYDJ either. I tried several of their styles years ago, and didn't like the fit or look. I guess we are in the minority, because it seems lots of ladies love this brand. IMO jean shopping is the most difficult thing (other than a swimsuit).

I have some health issues that affect my stomach which make it difficult for me to wear fitted pants or anything with an elastic waist (which feels like a rubber band cutting me in half).  I've found that yoga pants with a foldover waist (no elastic) are the best.  I usually go up a size so they aren't skin-tight and look like regular pants.  However, this style is becoming more difficult to find.  Vendors began adding elastic which misses the point and comfort of a foldover waist.  Anyway, thought I'd mention it, because no matter how distended my stomach becomes they are always comfortable, never binding.

Maybe I can find some in dark chocolate brown I have found some leggings in black and I have a pair and also in gray.  They are easy to snag though and the waist is not elastic I am not for sure what it is but I found them at Sams of all places.  I just have a need for now dark brown and I have no idea where to get them and I also don't have long sweaters to cover my rumpus. Yet, I have always looked nice and well who am I trying to impress other than myself...........so what if they see a big rumpus when I am out and about.  I can only do what I can and now that I am over pneumonia I need to get out and walk during the day..............I have to I have no choice.  Hugs to all.

Love these jeans, usually find them on sale for $99.

My only problem is stretching at the waist.  Of all my

jeans they make me look thinner.  I am a 12 in all

my jeans and pants.

So, after this conversation, I thought I would check out NYDJ.com.  It's been a long time since I browsed around.  The tops are pretty pricey too.   I did not pay full price for my NYDJ and never will but I wanted to compare them to the DreamJeannes leggings I recently bought.  I like my DJ leggings better and $46 beats $144 any day of the week.  My DJ leggings in black are 95% cotton and 4% spandex which I like much better in terms of durability, breathability (is that a word) and control.  The NYDJ leggings in black are 59% cotton, 20% rayon, 13% modal and 2% lycra.  By my math that leaves 6% unaccounted for.  But what the hey...lol   Not enoough control for me and the rayon and modal might make them softer but I think it also makes them less durable.  If I pay $144 for jeans leggings, I want them to last for years.  They seem similar to DG jeans with are stretcy but don't last long, according to my friends.

The leggings are really not leggings. They are more a slim leg pant and are fabulous if you have thin legs and issues with all pants being too voluminous in the leg. I wear the jeans and the ponte knit leggings and they don't pill or stretch. They also do not lose their elasticity at the waist and if you purchase the right size they do not stretch out. They are worth every penny and they give a nice, long lean look. I ordered DG jeans and I sent them back immediately. Vanity sizing in the extreme.
