I much prefer the traditional look and color, although I generally wear black and brown coats or blazers.

The second one.

I'm more of an unstructured jacket person, so blazers are generally not my thing. The second one has softer lines and I think I would be happy with that choice.

Both are very nice though!

I just bought Talbot's new black watch plaid blazer with the velvet collar. I own a Talbtos' black velvet blazer with the inverted lapels. I like both styles a lot

Both are nice, but I'm more of a classics wearer. I have one almost identical to the top one in the photos.

I like them both would would never wear #1. I am not a fan of those big pockets.

IMO, the pockets ruin the look of the jacket.

I too am a big blazer fan and would take both! But I really like the lipstick she's wearing with the traditional blazer!

I agree. I really like the style and cut of the second one. Very cute yet new and different. I don't any interest in a traditional blazer. Wore them for 50 years.
