I posted this on another thread about my attempt to alert CS about missing Click Here measurements. It seems CS does not shop for clothing with QVC based on my experience.

I did complain about missing Click Here measurements. Not about this item but about a Bob Mackie fleece jacket. I have been noticing a trend where new items are not being posted with the click here measurements. I decided to send CS an email. It seems neither rep took the time to actually READ what I wrote. For your viewing pleasure:

Me: You are missing the "Click Here" garment measurements for item A261772 - Bob Mackie's Fleece Jacket with Zipper Details. You will see there are several questions asking for measurements. These are critical to ensure proper fit. Could the measurements please be added.

Me Again: I am aware of the Sizing tab but that does not address my question. The sizing tab is to help you determine, based on YOUR measurements, what size SHOULD fit you. It does not provide the actual measurements of the GARMET, in this case, the fleece jacket. QVC usually provides something called CLICK HERE measurements. See below from another Bob Mackie item - A259408:

(I did a screen print of the actual Click Here measurements so CS would understand what I was asking.)

This is what is missing as I stated in my email.

QVC Again: I'm sorry that the physical garment measurements weren't listed for item A261772, Bob Mackie's Fleece Jacket with Zipper Details. Please let us know which sizes you are interested and we'll be happy to send the physical garments sizes for them.

I will also send your suggestion to the appropriate department regarding including the measurements online.

We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to your response.

I gave up after this as no where in my email did I state I NEEDED HELP with sizing information. I emailed to alert QVC to an ERROR that needed fixing. Not a SUGGESTION like "could Mr. Mackie offer this jacket in Aqua as that is my favorite color".

Related to this issue is the lack of hardware color designations on apparel, handbags, etc. The majority of time, this information is left out of both the on-air and the online product descriptions. I do not like goldtone or rosetone buttons/hardware and will not buy a garment or handbag if I don't know that it is for sure silvertone or gunmetal. Online pictures do not definitively show goldtone/silvertone/rosetone/gunmetal variations. Additionally, many times the hardware on apparel varies by the color of the item within the same product number. I have contacted customer service to get this information and have been told that it is impossible for them to provide this information. Given the new shipping policy, QVC should consider much more detailed on-air and online descriptions and, as a rule, include the hardware color designations.

I did this several days ago and no response. I was interested in a new Quacker outfit I saw in an email I received. I emailed them about sizing as I need a 45 inch chest. Whatever size that falls in, either L or XL, is the one I buy. No response from the Q and no purchase from me. I am pretty much done with QVC. For the first time in 20 years, I haven't purchased anything in over 2 months.

I was confused the other day, as to why the new Lisa Rinna jacket had no click here size chart and someone on that thread (I'm trying to remember) said that to get the chest measurement you had to call customer service for it, or that they had called customer service and got it. I called CS asking where the click here measurements were for the L.Rinna Jacket, she wanted to give me the numbers and I declined, it would take to much time trying to figure it out. She did say she did not know why the measurements were not listed and would send the message to the proper department! No measurements, no purchase. QVC is digging themselves a big hole......

Especially with that Lisa Rinna jacket, it was so cute however I noticed that it looked a bit snug on several of the models in the shoulder and chest area. One of the models on the video I saw, had it zipped up and she was really, really busty and it did not look good on her, she should have gone up a size if she was in her regular size. So the sizing was confusing to me on that one. If you layer a top or anything other than a tank or cami under it, you might need to go up a size but without the measurements how do you determine that.

At least they have the measurements though, when you called in. They still need to post them I agree! It's too much trouble to have to call CS and get measurements and jot them down, when you need them to order with when you are trying to decide what size is best for you.

Hopefully the ladies that did order this jacket will review it and let us know about sizing. I may order the jacket in the future if I can get some reliable sizing info. My concern is that if I go up a size for more room in the shoulders it would be too boxy and large through the torso.

On the TSV, the "click here" measurements are given for the regular size but not for the petite.

I have only e-mailed customer service a few times and found their "cut and paste" responses SO ANNOYING and NOT HELPFUL. I'm sorry you are frustrated...I've been there. I found it's better to call customer service. If you don't get the answers you want, ask customer service how to contact corporate QVC. This missing "click here" sizing information on new items is worrisome, especially with the new expensive return policy coming with orders placed on or after Feb. 17.

I'm pear-shaped, so I need both chest and hip measurements. I don't want to buy something that will fit one half but not the other. I return very little, less than half a dozen items a year, because I order items I expect to fit me based on the measurements.

I'm not going to buy without those measurements.
