I won my cart

I did some shopping earlier today on HSN. I bought a few items and the total was about $150. After I checked out, up on the screen popped a congratulatory message saying I'd won my cart.

Last week Chico's sent an email containing a code for $25 off with no minimum requirement. I bought a top marked down from $119 to $24.99. It came today. There is no way it is worth the original price, but it is worth FREE.

I also had that Chico's $25 free on my account, but I had no idea it was there! After lunch with a friend in a mall restaurant, I walked into the store just to look, found a top I liked and even though I'd promised myself no purchases in July, I decided it was reduced so much and was so different from anything I already owned, I just had to have it. When the clerk told me I could get it for free with dollars left over, I added a necklace and walked out with both for $5.53.

BTW - I agree with Chico's pricing and value - nothing much is worth any thing close to its initial price.
