Denim jackets have never appealed to me. The one Susan Graver showed this morning did, but I am trying to buy in a more controlled fashion. So I'm not placing an order (yet).

Depends on your style! Denim jackets give a cool, edgy, casual, informal vibe- That's totally me, and I have 6, some a light weight, some have fur, some distressed for hiking- 

Anyway, if you like a more conservative, formal style of dressing, may not be for you!

@Another new name Sue, I really love Kim Gravel's jackets which have knit back and sleeves like this one: A606112. She also has a pretty one with eyelet front but knit back and sleeves. They look great with classic jean jacket looks but comfy stretchy arms and back.

I've had a few--one that was a denim barn jacket that I bought here probably in the late 1980s---I wore that thing until just about 4 years ago when It got donated---and it still was in decent conditon. Don't remember the brand. I had a few others but never wore them much and donated as well.

Ditto! - They look cute on other people, but I'm too "hot-natured" for jackets, coats, and most long-sleeved garments.

I've always liked them, but for some reason never bought one until last year. I really like it.  I wear regular jeans 99.5% of my waking hours and find them quite comfortable.  I don't come home and change into something "more comfy".  The jean jacket I have is not stiff and it has stretch to it.  I'm cold natured, so I have a closet full of coats/jackets in different weights to wear depending on if it's hot out, but I'll be in AC or if it's cooler outside.  I need another jacket like I need another hole in my head, but I could be persuaded.  I didn't care for the TSV at all. Very boxy and kinda long since I'm short.  I'm 66 BTW.

I bought one from qvc when Joan Rivers was the fashion queen there. I really never liked them but the one she showed was soft with turn back cuff sleeves so I got it! Still wear it and stll looks great!
