I am a "Resolve" girl, and sometimes Resolve + (cheap) shaving cream together will get stains out of carpet.

I also bought Lestoil, to help with something on BF's pants, so that is in the queue of pink pit products.

Sounds like you've got a good game plan!
I've tried Resolve (and had better luck with Folex) but I had not heard of the shaving cream trick! I love that! I have used hydrogen peroxide on a cream colored carpet and it works really well. I'm off to Google shaving cream on carpet.
