I wish I could share your love of winter, but I am HOT weather girl. I love the heat and summer time.

Enjoy, you have lots to love this year.

me too!

I hate snow and cold and ice and the grayness of the days in cold weather places. When the world looks black and white, it depresses me.

I'm in the SW desert now and couldn't be happier.

I love the cold also. I sleep so much better. It was almost 80° yesterday & today it's 47°. We have already hit new record highs for Jan. It's never 80° in Jan. I'm so not looking forward to the rainy humid days that will soon be coming our way. We should still have at least 2 mos of winter left around here. Feb is generally our coldest month. I can tolerate the heat but I cannot tolerate the humidity.

I'm with you. I love winter and cold weather. Love the clothes and accessories. I couldn't live in a tropical climate as I hate hot weather. At least here it changes.

Re: I think I could be an eskimo...I love the cold.

Me too!

I love how still and quiet it is on a cold winter night. It is especially beautiful when the sky is really dark blue and the stars are so bright and the moon casts a shine on the snow and makes it sparkle.

I love how the snow seems to clean the air. The air is always so fresh after it snows. I just love breathing it in, it feels so good.

I love how amazing the red cardinals look on the snow covered branches.

I love horses too and miss my old horse Sunny Boy.

I love, love, love that there are no bugs! I'm allergic to mosquitos, so I actually spend more time outside in the winter than I do in the warmer months.

I live in New Hampshire and I absolutely love it.

This Pittsburgh girl loves the winter too! A quiet time...books, cups of tea and hot chocolate, fires, flannel sheets, afghans, warm clothing. I love the start of any new season....summer the least.

I love the cold weather too- not the wind necessarily. But I find it so relaxing sitting inside by the fireplace watching the snow fall! A blanket of snow on everything looks so serene. Fashion-wise, I'd much rather layer my clothes then strip down to a pair of shorts and tank top in the heated summers!!

I love all 4 seasons ... the night sky after a snow storm is so clear and the quiet hush with everyone indoors while my dog and I create the first footsteps in the snow, the bright colours of spring with the clean smell after a spring shower, the lusciousness of summer with flowers in bloom and beautiful fruits galore ... and the stunning autumn changes as the trees seem to change colours in waves of red, orange and yellow. Truly, what a wonderful world we live in!

Re: I think I could be an eskimo...I love the cold.

I thought I was the only one who loves the cold! I was born and raised in Southern Calif and we retired four years ago and came to live in Wyoming~! Yes, that's right.... LOL and I love it. I knew I would. DH is originally from North Dakota so he felt living here would be a jump down from up there. He always said it's just like going into the Desert, you have to respect it, plan for it and dress for it.

All my Calif girlfriends thought I was crazy. They still think that, lol...

We're doing great out here... a couple of weeks ago it was -17 at midnight. Serious cold. Had quite a bit of snow, it was great. Got out the Quad with the plow on the front and cleared the driveway... {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}
