My boot intervention was the last step in a larger wardrobe intervention.  I'm a boot fanatic, too, but boy are they a pain to manage and store!

I had boots everywhere and I got really tired of putting the supports in them, laying them back in the boxes after wearing, etc.  So last spring I sold off all but two pair. with a goal of eventually having four pair - black and brown only - two pair of short, and two pair of tall boots. I'm there now, and with only four pair I have room to have them out and on top of my shoe rack at all times.  What a relief.  I'm happier with fewer, higher quality boots.

I know this is OT but I wanted to share what I've done with my boots, which is an inexpensive alternative to the supports.  I cut a length of pool noodle to the height of the boots and insert them into the boots. That keeps them standing and not falling over, everywhere on the floor of the closet.  Just thought I'd share. Aren't those tall boots awfully hot for most Texas winter days?

Nope.  Especially not in my office building!

I see the TSV boots on the preview page as being a low-heel riding boot with buckles:

I don't care for the two material use of these. Also don't care for the higher length in the front. Just looks odd to me. If I ignore those 2 things, these look very pretty. I do like the riding boot style.

Re: I need a boot intervention

Love the ones with the higher heel but I would tend to not wear them much because of that heel.  The boots I own that I wear the most are flat.  Those are pretty, though.

I don't think I like those MF ones which is a good thing because I LOVE LOVE LOVE boots.  I don't need any this year, though.  Except for maybe a good rugged pair with a lug sole.

Re: I need a boot intervention

I'm in the south and it's almost always too hot to wear boots, but I love them and have too many already. Haven't been able to wear them since the beginning of the year and I'm really looking forward to it.

Those boots in the pic are beautiful, OP!

Re: I need a boot intervention

I usually don't buy the traditional-style riding boots because the soles are often smooth and have little tread if any,  made for putting your foot through stirrups. I like good tread on all my boots so I can wear them with confidence in the snow and ice.Woman Happy

Re: I need a boot intervention

I would like to help you but I have a boot problem myself.  I've been wearing 4" Camutos lately and would probably go for the heels, lol.

Then again, a riding boot is sharp too.
