Took a look at tomorrow's Marc Fisher TSV. They are pretty!  I've been on a boot binge lately, but all ankle boots. I've resisted pulling the trigger on these below for the last few days, but I really do want them. The heel is higher than I normally wear, but they are so pretty! I have 2 dresses and a skirt they'd look great with. These or the Marc Fisher?

Re: I need a boot intervention

Sadly... or do I mean gladlyWoman Wink, I'm of no help with reasoning behind not buying boots.  The heel height on the Marc Fisher is higher than my knees comfort level allows, but even that doesn't always keep my paws off a hot pair of boots.

I have enough riding boots, and don't want over-the-knee boots.  But these -- OMG -- are gorgeous!  Don't tell me the brand or where you found them @MercysMom. Smiley Happy

@Caaareful Shopper

They aren't at the Q and they are a great price and come in black/gray, brown/tan, navy/blue, merlot/berry...if you change your mind, let me know. I'll be happy to share!

I got the Marc Fishers TSV in navy, ordered early, and love them.  Navy is so hard to find.  They are comfortable and they are a true navy and not almost black.  Good luck on your decission.

I love those in the pic. Heel height way too high for me. I'm safe, lol.

Why not both? They are totally different boots and can be worn in totally different ways.

The TSV for tomorrow are gorgeous and would look great more casually , over jeans or leggings.

The ones above are dressier.  Great with skirts and dresses.

I see the TSV boots on the preview page as being a low-heel riding boot with buckles:

Re: I need a boot intervention

My boot intervention was the last step in a larger wardrobe intervention.  I'm a boot fanatic, too, but boy are they a pain to manage and store!

I had boots everywhere and I got really tired of putting the supports in them, laying them back in the boxes after wearing, etc.  So last spring I sold off all but two pair. with a goal of eventually having four pair - black and brown only - two pair of short, and two pair of tall boots. I'm there now, and with only four pair I have room to have them out and on top of my shoe rack at all times.  What a relief.  I'm happier with fewer, higher quality boots.
