Re: I'm dressing up to go to the grocery store

@Susan in California

I do live in the PNW.  I have been here for many years.  It got too hot for me in Orange County and now it is getting hot up here.

I miss the beaches in So Cal and I miss LA - the Greek Theater, Hollywood Bowl and first run plays (not road shows) but that is about it.

I miss the beach towns and beaches, too.  I was more Seal Beach, Belmont Shores and Huntington Beach.  I moved to the PNW about 40 years ago.  @DiAnne @Susan in California.

@tansy

When I was in third grade we moved from Pasadena to Seal Beach.  That was when it still had seals!

I think that's a good idea to take pride in the way you look.

My sister went to a funeral and she said she never saw so many boobs hanging out, people in dollar store flip flops and hair looking like a rats nest.

You expect that of men LOL but, women, should have more class.

That's good to know!  A fellow native CA.

I live  in Northern CA, but we travel a lot (used to).

Our older son went to UCSD and had several friends

from OC.

My husband is from SoCA too.

Our weather this week has been fluctuating

a great deal.  We had two days in the mid 80s

and right now we have a fire in our wood-burning

stove and expecting rain late tonight.  It's windy

too.

Do you live in the Pacific Northwest?

Our daughter and son-in-law are graduates of UCSD, too! @Susan in California
