Re: I like Courtney-there I said it.

Courtney is fine... she just needs to grow into the job, which she will if she stays for a long enough time. She will eventually lose that cutsey-cutesy little-girl stuff that just grates on my nerves but I think she has the potential to develop into a mature host, she's bright, gracious and a quick learner from all I've seen.

I remember when LR came on board with all the "Thank YOU so much, THANK you SO much, Thank you SOOOOO MUCH" that seemed so insincere, went on way too long and was really hard on the nerves, but LR sorted it all out.

Courtney will too, but I think she needs time and some serious training.....

Her voice is like fingernails on a blackboard to me. I just can't listen.

I like Courtney also, I enjoy her. New and fresh ideas. I only catch her when I am up early in the morning though, like around 4. I am about twice her age. I think they should rotate the hosts for PM style. It would make it more interesting and no one will be the diva.

I don't care for her at all. I will immediately turn the channel when she's on.

Re: I like Courtney-there I said it.

I don't understand why people with low post counts begin with "I love____ (fill in blank with host's name)" threads. I realize you've got to start somewhere, but sometimes I can't help but question the authenticity. There have been so many lately that it makes me wonder if Courtney and other hosts (or their managers/relatives) are behind these threads.

I agree. I think if Courtney would lose the "valley girl" persona she could be a fine host.

She seems to be star struck with herself right now. Once she grows up a little, she should be fine. I really don't understand why she puts on the VG act. Isn't she from Georgia??

Courtney does seem a little more grown up since her marriage and sounds more adult than the original baby - valley girl squeak. However, I'd still rather have somebody else for an hour show - time will tell what her talents are.

I like Courtney, too ~~ as the song goes "there I said it again ~" {#emotions_dlg.wub}
