when I see thin skimpy fabrics w/LOGO logo now selling for way more than $35.00.

when I hear Jayne in the morning show telling us that the tsv vest is now the 'least expensive' item in her line. I choked on my morning coffee over this one.

when I watched the 'big bonanza' show was only 17 hrs long

when at least 1/2 of the big bonanza stuff was old jewelry on sale to get rid of it

and I'll second the ripoff on NEEDING to return items that are no longer true to size - then they sock us with 'the letter' of too many returns - yeah I was one way many years ago to get one.

when I buy 2 of the exact same clothing item same size BUT THEY'RE NOT

my list could probably get longer but I'll stop here.

I have to admit I take it further... I feel ripped off when I pay more than final cut clearance prices for clothes. I'm losing weight & dropping sizes so I need new clothes but they don't fit for long before they are too big. That drops the value of everything.

I keep track of what I wear to work. I have a page per month, and each day I write down what I wore. I put an asterisk next to an item that no longer fits.

I am getting tired of winter and of the winter pieces I picked out for Project 333, so I looked back to see what I wore a year ago. Nearly every item is gone. My spring/summer won’t be quite as dramatic, as I plateaued last June and really haven’t budged since then, but am I glad I bought most of my clothes from Kohls on sale+30% off!

So, I too feel ripped off whenever I pay full price for an article of clothing.

has to be my cable,too...they raised their price by six dollars...yet there isn't a week that goes by that they shut down for an hour or more while they are doing whatever..so the picture comes on...goes off...comes on..goes off...just happened on BBD...

what is funny...Not.....they sent me an e-mail saying if my service goes out during the storm....just click on....------.....just how would I do that if the service is OUT???? when they are having any kind of problem...I lose my T.V. ...my phone....and my CABLE....the dummies.....

We were loyal cable subscribers for well over 30 years, and recently my bill shot up to $185. I was outraged and had Direct TV installed. When I took my cable boxes in to cancel my service, the lady behind the counter was shocked and asked why. When I told her I was sick of my bill increasing every year by $20 or more per month year after year. We are good customers who pay our bills on time every month, so it is their loss.

Today, I received the bill for our annual termite inspection. $255.67 so the pest control company can come to my house, inspect it for a few minutes, and tell me that the termite prevention chemicals that they injected into the ground that cost about $800 is still working. The contract is guaranteed but only as long as I pay the annual inspection fee which goes up by about 15% every year!
