I am also a review reader. I do appreciate any help in determinig what size would fit best whether it's a ring or a legging. By now I know which ones to pass over. Like others have stated saying you love or hate something but NOT telling me why isn't useful.
I really appreciate when a reviewer describes the color. Most times between the on air presentation, the video, and the picture on the web, it's hard to know what color it really is.

I completely agree with the OP, too - I always read the reviews. When a person provides info on their size, how it fits, the description of the color, texture, etc. - it all helps me. The ones that say "I love how it fits, it's so cute" , etc. without specific information obviously doesn't help much, but many of the reviews are great.

I think most women here on the fashion boards come here for sizing and garment information, I don't think they pay any attention to the online reviews. They've said so in other threads, that they don't really trust the reviews on the item pages, because people can post reviews without having actually bought the item. So many times there will be reviews from people that clearly don't even own the item, and they will either give a negative review or give a review saying they want something else other than what the item is. Which is ridiculous, that people can do that.
Many regular posters here have said that they don't even read the reviews and that most of the reviews aren't helpful to them at all. That is why I stopped leaving reviews for items I've purchased.
This absolutely isn't true. I would never come to forums for several reasons. Many items I want to read about are not here and never going to be here in the forums. Unless you're a Linea fanatic (or GILI - you get the picture), you may never see anything about an item in Community. The community posters are a small number of people compared to the number of people who actually buy items and post reviews. There are also some really vicious people who post in forums.
I'll stick to the regular reviews. You can tell whether someone has purchased the item by their review for the most part. I appreciate the reviews and use them often. I think you can pretty much filter out the ridiculous reviews and there is no guarantee that forum reviews are better than regular reviews.
I do appreciate people giving information about their size and height. It doesn't help to hear that it fits well and nothing else. You need to know what size they purchased. I also like to hear which color they bought. If they just say "fantastic color" that is meaningless.

I also appreciate that info. The size info ("I bought a L and it was slightly loose") are invaluable in reviews. Especially in shoes.
I hope people reading this will remember to include which size, which color, etc, they bought when they take the time to do a review. It makes it so much more useful.

I agree! I read on-line reviews all the time. Here there is a forum, yes, but most shopping websites don't have that available.
