May I please just add that it is utterly and completely wonderful that your "thing" with your youngest daughter is to tell each other how much you love each other???!! You are both so lucky!
I love THAT more than all the Cheetos in the world!
Blessed you are. Blessed she is. 💜💛

Oh what a terrific tradition with your family and Cheetos! Thank you so much for sharing that. 💛

@feline groovy
I LOVE this kitty munching on skinny Cheetos. Soooo adorable! Her mouth and her paw are all orange from the Cheetos...I can't take it! Fantastic!

Re: I Want a T-Shirt that Says..."Every day above ground is a good day"

@MarnieRez3  We have both come up with some really funny things.  Things like, "I love you more than all the leaves in all the trees in the world".  I love you more than all of the rain drops that have ever fallen from the sky since time began".  "I love you more than ever blade of grass in all of the world".

She's more clever than I am.

This is different but I just texted to all three of my girls yesterday as I was looking at the card rack:

Me to my 3 girls:  "So who's birthdays are in the month of June"?

My oldest daughter shot back:  "None but here are the August birthdays".

The the middle daughter texted back:  "Daddy's birthday is in June".  (He's deceased).

So I texted back:  "I'd send him a card but I don't know the address for Heaven".

My youngest daughter texted back:  "Mom!  That should go on a Hallmark card...it's really good!  Or it could be in a video for those Folger's coffee commercials.  They always make me cry at Christmas".  Ha!

This is the kind of things we text back and forth.  They are much more clever than I am.

They always seem to know when I miss their Father and they'll call me, take me to lunch or text me and "I love you".

Mother's and daughters.  There's not much that's better.

@Annabellethecat66   I always enjoy your posts.

Mine would say "it's five o'clock somewhere" if I were still working.  Now that I am retired my life and time are my own.

I can start happy hour at three p.m. if I want and have dinner at four!

The only drawback to retirement is that the body is older and the money flow is a tad smaller.  Fortunately my brain still works well and my health is pretty good.
