@monicakm I don't generally read your makeup posts as I'm not into makeup much but this caught my eye.

If YOU love it, for pete's sake WEAR IT! Who cares what anyone thinks. Maybe your DH meant it in a loving way!  Enjoy the bee-jeezus out of it!

I'm pretty sure surr this is someone making joke.  It's ridiculous.  But in the off chance that it isn't a joke, just wear the top of you like it.  It sounds very pretty, very seasonal.  You daughter and husband were obviously paying you a compliment.  Foxy meaning pretty.

@teganslaw  I love sequin sneakers! I have  a white pair of sequin Keds sneakers with ribbon laces and they really sparkle in the sun.  Your gold sneakers sound great!

@monicakm  I think your husband and daughter meant foxy as a compliment- as in beautiful, captivating, fun.  I think they used a play on words by calling you "foxy" to bring up that there is a fox on your top but also that you're "foxy" aka pretty and stylish.  Your top sounds really cute

I'm 64 and I'm definitely at the age where I do me, within reason, and to heck like anybody else thinks.  But I'm pretty conservative so it's not a stretch.

To an extent and in certain situations I think it's a valuable trait to care what others think about you.  I feel I'm respecting myself and others if I do my best to be my best and appear my best.  That can be taken to an extreme and that's when it's not healthy. But I would absolutely die if someone thought I considered myself foxy, unless it was my husband and he does LOL thanks for everyone's input.
