I don't buy a ton of things online, but I post reviews on most things I buy from the Q and other retailers whether good, not so good, or just okay. I hope my reviews help someone.

To everyone that responded that they do post reviews, THANK YOU.  I rely heavily on reviews when purchasing. Unfortunately, I rarely leave them. My New Year's resolution always includes leaving more reviews. My problem is, I almost always purchase items at deep discounts like As Is and items that are so limited and on clearance that the item is usually sold out by the time I receive the product and actually use it.

Someone stated they always leave negative reviews and rarely leave positive because they want to help others. Well, the positive are just as important.

I do! I wrote one for something I purchased at HSN once, not a very positive one but it was for some sort of "water" drink that was the worst thing I'd ever had in my mouth. They turned it down saying I didn't purchase the item--what??? I try to make my reviews helpful and stick to the actual item.  It's so strange to me for someone to write a review and it's a negative one because the item received was damaged. I would like to see the option of re-reviewing items. I've given a rave review to something before only to have it break within a month (those metal "leak-proof" hoses.) I don't always base my purchase on a negative review but they are helpful.

I tend to review an item I really like or on a dud. Some items I wait to see the longevity or quality. On Amazon I believe you can post a lot later and a second review if the item is still around,or you used to be able to. Cannot do that on QVC or HSN. I just about always comb thru reviews.

A whole lot of negative ones , or that point to the same malfunction it is goodbye for me to a purchase. If one posts about doing something that the instructions I can look at state 'do not do' and they say they did that I ignore. You can sort of glean after awhile if the reviewer has a clue. I do appreciate reviews for the most part and make use of them.

When you write a Qvc review it uses your forum nickname. I wish it didn't.

I am glad that they do.  I trust some's opinions and remarks more than others so it makes a difference to me.

Yes, I can understand that pov. I just like having as much anonymity as possible and have it completely separate from any other entity such as this forum. There's always some bias when you connect things, some good and some bad.

I tried to leave a 5* review for an article I bought and loved from HSN and I got a message saying I couldn't because I didn't by the article.  Actually, I bought two.
