Gary and Carolyn had a show on Q2 today. Maybe there'll be reruns tonight. Removal of such lesions is very routine and usually no big deal.

I know he was waiting on the biopsy to see if it was cancer or not

He must be a nervous wreck waiting on the results. I pray it is not cancer.

The removal of lesions is so routine and they're so seldom maligant, that I think most people don't give them much thought. I had several removed in my 40s and I didn't worry about them. Parents and grandparents had them removed often. Part of getting older. Strange things happen to skin.

I'm happy for you that you have had positive results but many of us are not so fortunate, nor are family members. Age is not always a factor either. Anytime a biopsy is involved it's concerning.

Tell me about it. I just had a small basal cell removed today from off my shoulder blade. Lidocaine, is wearing off taking Tylenol and they wrote a prescription for Keflex (antibiotic) that I have to take 4 times a day for 7 days to prevent infection.
Margins are clean and he checked it under a microscope Mohr's surgery.
I'm happy it's over. Take stitches out the 28th. Got bandage on it and Friday start Neosporin application. Then, I got a actinic keratoses on nose (biopsied too) they will probably spray on the 28th. Already sprayed one on the other side of the nose , it's gone.
I've had warts sprayed, seborherrea keratoses on back sprayed. Phew been going since Oct. I'm sick to death of it.

@SharkE Thanks God margins are clean. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

It was just a little spot like the size of your little finger, but, he took a long piece out. got threads sticking out and putting polysporin on it twice a day.
I've been thru worse. Kind of hard to reach on the back and got nobody to help me. Husband died in June, so, it's me, myself and I. LOL
