As I said on another thread the Q has too many lines to show them all on Fashion Day. It is disappointing if your favorite isn't in the lineup. They tend to focus on their in house brands regardless of whether it is Fashion Day or not because they probably make more money on those brands.

I was surprised to see Clinton Kelly still in the mix, the lace/gingham jacket was adorable.

@just wonder wrote:And just where is Bob Mackie? I know he is still on and has occasional shows, but I too much still prefer designers who are not on today as opposed to newer designers the Q is hopefully just trying out; I'm not buying, except from Isaac. And to not further belabor another post I started, WHERE IS GEORGE SIMONTON?!
George wrote on his Facebook page that he is not invited to come back. Looks like Bob is pretty much on th way out as well. Dennis was actually on. Louis is no longer doing th structures Ann Klein like careerwear so I suppose they did not want his new focus of leisure wear to compete with the house brands. Sadly his designs are looking more and more like denim and co lately. Clearly it is a new QVC with customers who are liking and buying th new lineup.

@ECBGI didn't teach for all those 53 years - some were my own schooling, but I spent 23 years in a middle school and 13 in the high school for the same 36 you spent.
I have to say that while it was a career that was good to me, I think I was there during the golden years of education. So glad to be "graduated."

I was hoping for an hour of Carole Hochmann... Wanted to get another short gown with matching robe. I have searched everywhere for it. Six oclock has very little and the stores just have none.

Louis Dell Olio is the best designer on QVC. He has a large following on QVC.. He shows his stuff as more or less collections. The Linea ladies are all looking forward to his spring collection at the end of March and April. I have already started my tentative list. I, personally, purchased a lot last Fall and was thrilled by my choices. Linea clothes have a beautiful hand, fit well, and are always lovely. Louis is a 3 time Coty Award winner (Oscar of fashion) and has been inducted into the Coty Hall of Fame. He has a blog website where he gives sneak peaks and talks about his clothing. We also can ask questions, etc. and he answers them in a timely manner. I, personally, would be extremely upset if he did not continue at QVC.
On another front when George Simonton first came to QVC he had some cute stuff. But in recent years his stuff was not as appealing. George Simonton may be very talented, but he is not of the calibre of a Louis Dell Olio.
