I like easy pay on a big ticket item that I may or may not return so that I don't make the full investment initially. If when I receive the item (say a piece of pricey jewelry), I decide to keep it - I then choose to pay if off so I don't have the payments hanging around. I think it is a slippery slope if people are buying things they cannot afford to pay for in full, but on the flipside - with easy pay they may get something they would otherwise may not have been able to buy. I guess it depends on the individual. For me I know my limits ... I also do not have a Q card.

I like to pay in full but when I pick up my gallon it will evitably be on easy pay..
They do add up...a couple of watches, gold chains I had to have...(holiday gifts!)
But it's all on a debit card, not credit...

I have never used easy pay!!! When I purchase something from QVC I always use my personal CC and pay bill in full each month (except maybe at Christmastime). It works for me.

I've never used easy pay. I'd much rather have the item on sale than pay for it for the next several months. Ridiculous.

I don't view it as "evil pay" as some have done here over the years. I've used it every once in a while and appreciated having it for expensive items like a computer or gold jewelry. I always kept track of what I had ordered so I could live within my means and pay off the credit cards in full each month.

I agree that a sale price is much more enticing than easy pay. The last big ticket items for me (computer, vacuum, etc.) were purchased locally because the price was better than QVC's price. IMO easy pay isn't worth it if we have to pay more in the long run.

I just wish QVC would offer real sale prices instead of acting like they are giving us something with their easy pay events.

I use easy pay when I am trying something different. Here's a couple of examples where easy pay really benefitted me:
1. Ordered a Scott Kay necklace on 5 EP. Necklace didn't exactly blow my hair back so I returned it and was only waiting for the small portion to be refunded.
2. Ordered the Oryany TSV a couple of months ago on 5 EP. Never tried the brand before and once I got the first one home (yep I ordered 2) and the bag rocked my world, I went into my account and paid the rest of the EP's that day.
If I feel a risk on a considered purchase and EP is offered, I'll take it. I don't have the patience to wait out the 5 months so if I like the item I go into my account and pay the rest of the balance.

I forgot to mention in my other post that I do like EZ pay but it definitely makes it easier to get carried away with spending, especially if you don't track your purchases carefully.

I think on a large purchase it is nice to have. Small purchases confuse me and when the next month comes, I can't remember what I am paying for because all it says on my Amex bill is QVC 1 of 3. I try and avoid them now.
