Re: How do you care for Denim and Co. pants, capris, crops, pedal pushers, etc?

Wash in cold, throw them in the dryer. Take them out slightly damp, line dry, fold them up and done. Never had a problem with D&C . They wear like iron. Over time I get rid of them when I don't care for the fit or the color.

I may be a little ocd on this, but kitchen towels and dishcloths get washed by themselves in hot water and a little bleach. Towels get the same cycle, but separate from anything else. A lot of clothing gets warm wash, darks separate, more delicate things separate, dark casual pants and jeans separate--sometimes on cold, nicer knit shirts go on cool and get dried awhile on delicate then hung up. Undies get their own separate load as well and a little bleach too.

I wash all my clothes cold water, gentle cycle and hang dry. I need them to last as long as they can.

I find that when we go to camp in the summer and I have to use the campground laundry - where there is no hot water my clothes do not come out nearly as clean as when I wash them at home in hot water. I just don't feel cold water gets things clean.

I do not ever pamper my clothes. They are go in the sames warm wash/ward rinse ultra clean cycle and then the dryer on med-high heat.

Denim & Co, LOGO, Liz Claiborne, Antthony, Diane Gilman, etc... to my pjs and under garments I just don't want to be bothered taking too much time washing and drying my clothes.

Wash, dry, fold or hang and I'm done. Every once in a while I purchase something that doesn't "like" that treatment, but for the most part I have found that the clothes I purchase are much more durable than the care instructions that are sewn in would want you to believe.

I'm with you.

You sound like my kind of gal. I also try to stay clear of anything that needs "ironing." {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

I guess I am the only one who doesn't take special care....mine go in on regular wash...cold water....rinse in cold water...then throw in the dryer on high....

Have been buying D&co for years and have always laundered them that way...and no harm has come to them....they all still look just like the day I got them....

Me too. I put them in the washer on warm, then put them in the dryer. Try to remember to take them out when dry. I don't pamper them at all except I try to separate the dark jeans from the pastel tees after several disasters.

Warm wash and into the dryer on regular. Part of the beauty of Denim & co. is it's ease of care.

Tickles me nobody irons anymore. I iron 1-2 hrs. a week. Don't want to look like I just rolled out of bed, unkempt. My husband would never wear an un-ironed shirt or pants. I iron hankerchiefs too. Probably , just a sign of the times. Nobody wants to cook, iron anymore.
