How can you see what a "tank" looks like if it is covered up by both models with a longsleeve jacket

[ Edited ]

How can you see what a tank (# A-240830) looks like if both models have it covered up with a longsleeve jacket?!

Then Issac asked one to kindly take it off and well I guess thats why. Her bra was showing through-it has the kind of armholes that are cut too far in. The stylists probably saw that and said well just throw a jacket over it. But not a very good way to sell-you couldn't see the tank to begin with,

and then you could see too much!

And then there are the sunglasses. In the beginning neither model was moving, just standing like a statue with sunglasses. Later when I suppose they adjusted the bra problem, one started to actually move around.

How does it make sense to have the other standing so far off you could barely see her?!

It just makes you want to go in there and direct! (and I'm no director for sure)

There they are again standing way off in the distance, then finally moving up.

I think it distracts from what could have been  a good presentation of a tank that granted needed some adjusting if you buy it. And it would have been nice to just be upfront and let customers know.(I used to be able to spell lol-edited for sp)

That would lessen returns but maybe thats how QVC makes a lot of their profit? Returns because of poor presentations without the correct information or the right information but not enough details.

I noticed that right off when the model took off the jacket....then the model was trying to hid the bra straps but to no avail.  How would you wear that and hide the bra? Shame on them for not showing that the tee was cut wrong by covering up the tee with a jacket.

i own these tanks in a few colors and my bra does not show. if you read the reviews some people do say that the armholes run big, but i have not found that to be the case. i am sure it fits differently on everyone depending on body type and may not work with every style of bra.......but it is a great tank and wears well......have had no problems with them.

I clicked on the thread quite sure it was going to be about the Liz Lang TS presentation!

It was a tank and pants and EVERY SINGLE MODEL was wearing the upsell jacket over the tank!

Finally when we got one that wasn't wearing the jacket there were no issues with see through or exposed bra straps but it was just so voluminous!

Seems silly that both channels are selling tanks but not wanting to show the tanks?!

I seldom buy anything when they have the item covered up with "accessories" either, such as scarves, huge necklaces, etc. I can't imagine what they are thinking. They could have one model all decked out to show the upsell, but the others should be showing the actual garment they are presenting. To me, that is just common sense, lol.

I enjoyed reading everyone's replies though I will say, no, not every tank is equal and we do need to see how it fits.

Is it boxy? too tight? etc.Are the arm holes cut too far in?

Anyway I just noticed almost every post has best answer!

I didn't put that cause i don't even know how to do the best answer thing lol!

But everyone gets a thumbs up!

And if "best answer" appears on this post, it must be from the twilight zone!

In addition, sometimes the models have their long hair hanging to the front over one shoulder.  That doesn't help show the item either.

Gawd! I hate that too. Push that mop behind you. Long hair can't sell earrings either. Can't see the straps, embroidery work, etc.

I totally agree. If I'm interested in any type of top, that's what I need to see. Isaac's models tend to wrap scarves around their necks or wear jackets over the shirts so you can't see the neckline or the fit. And what's with all of his models wearing sunglasses? They could be modeling a winter coat and would still wear sunglasses. Drives me nuts. Just let me see the model wearing the shirt without all the embellishments.
