Did you use any laundry soap?  Re wash them and hang outside to dry, especially leave them out over night.  Good luck.

Re-wash with just a cup of vinegar, no detergent and rinse twice.

If none of these great suggestions work, and as strange as it sounds, try wrapping your jeans (dry, not wet) in newspaper print.  For a few days or more.

I read or heard about this suggestion many, many years ago.  And it has worked for me.

Make sure you tape a huge note on your wrapped bundle:  "Do NOT throw out!!"

Lots of good luck.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

@ROMARY ..........you are so right newspaper certainly works.  Its a very, very old tried and true method.  Wadded up newspaper in your shoes will also absorb moisture and stink.  If I remember right someone told me people used to put newspapers under the arms of their dresses, shirts, etc inbetween laundering or dry cleaning to eliminate BO.

I would think washing them in cold or warm water with detergent would take care of it.  If not, I'd toss them out because you don't know what the smell is.  Perfume, cologne, scented lotions; all that stuff easily washes out.
